Two Different Reflective Materials

Radiance and Luminance

Measure emanating virtual light source created by reflection from a diffuse surface.

Measurements of LEDs

Use an integrating sphere to test LED lights in order to determine photometric parameters such as CCT, CRI, CIE1931 CIE1976, LM-79, NVLAP.

Laser Power Measurements

The sphere photometer offers the advantage of total collection and spatial integration. In the measurement of the highly collimated source such has laser, the sphere offers the avantage of signal attenuation.

Solid-State Lighting

Other type of solids-state lighting material can be measure inside an integrating sphere including VCSEL, Diode laser, OLED, etc.

Reflection and Transmittance

Conceptual 3D Design

After the initial consultation, our engineers will generate a 3D design of your integrating sphere using SolidWorks 2016 according to your design requirements.

This will allow you to visualize how your integrating sphere will look like and provide feedback to our team for further design modifications.

Review of Technical Drawings

Our engineers will generate a technical drawing to show the optical configuration of the system. You will have the chance to confirm with our engineers the location and dimensions of the following components:

  • External and Internal Diameter
  • Dimension and Geometry of the Stand

Manufacturing of the Sphere

After the approval of the the technical drawing, we start working on your sphere to deliver it in a timely matter. This includes:

  1. Aluminium Framing
  2. Sphere Moulding
  3. BaSO4 Coating
  4. Ports Drilling and Baflle Installation
  5. Final Assembly and Quality Check

Delivery, Installation and Training

Once finished, our logistic department will coordinate the shipment of the sphere to your door.

Integrating Sphere Applications

An integrating sphere is a spherical chamber whose internal surface is coated with highly reflective diffusing material. It has an input port where lamps can be inserted and an exit port where detectors can be installed.

Integrating Sphere and its Applications

Integrating sphere, as its name implies, is a spherical device with a reflective coating applied to its inside surface. A source of light is normally placed inside it and it will measure the total flux output from the source.
